The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has released the final prospectus for the JNVST-2025. Candidates and parents can now apply for admission to Class VI in JNVs through the selection test for the academic session 2025-26. The NVS conducts this selection test twice a year.
Each year, thousands of students participate in the selection test to enroll in JNVs. The application window for the JNVST-2025 is currently open. Candidates and parents are encouraged to submit the online application form before the deadline on September 16, 2024.

Navodaya Admission 2025-26 Eligibility Criteria for Class 6
Students must be aware of the NVS eligibility criteria when applying for Class 6 admission. If a student is found to be ineligible for JNVST admission 2025-26, their application will be rejected. Below, we have outlined the eligibility criteria and conditions required for Navodaya Vidyalaya admission 2025 Class 6.
- Students can apply for Jawahar Navodaya Class 6 Admission 2025-26 from their respective districts.
- Students must have been born between May 1, 2013, and July 31, 2015, inclusive.
- To qualify for admission, candidates must be at least 10 years old and no older than 12 years. Candidates who do not meet these age requirements will be ineligible to apply for JNV admission 2025-26.
- Candidates must have completed Class 5 from a recognized school to be eligible to apply for Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 6 admission 2025-26.
- To gain admission to Class 6, candidates must pass the NVS entrance exam 2025. The exam will last for 2 hours and will consist of arithmetic, language, and mental ability tests, with a total of 100 marks.

Candidates will need to upload the following documents in digital format during the online application process for the JNVST 2025-26 session:
